WHO WE ARE
The National Girls Speech and Debate Championship (NGSDC) is an educational program created to elevate and bring to the fore, girls in senior high schools offering general arts, literature and other social sciences and give these students a platform to add their voice to society’s advancement, build confidence in public speaking and eloquently express their ideas through speech and debate. We dare to also award teachers and schools training assertive and profitable members of the society.

To be the leading institution and most sought-after credible girls’ advocacy and mentoring platform that gives young women the opportunity to build bright, profitable futures for themselves and society through speeches and debates by the next decade.
Mission
To educate, empower, train and give the girl child a platform to grow and become an independent and a profitable member of society through the delivery of speeches and debates.
Objective
To provide a platform for girls from participating schools to discuss issues that border on girl child development, render opinions on issues that hinder the growth of girls in Ghana and in general, and develop a substantive approach to break the age-long barriers for girls at every stage of education, career and life.
